Goodbyes are never easy
We are a close team at Audley, and so it is with mixed emotions that we said goodbye and good luck to our colleague Dr Pritesh Raval, who left the practice a few weeks ago.
Pritesh was our Periodontal Specialist, and is off to face new challenges, following the arrival of his second child back in February. We send him and his family many congratulations for the new adventures ahead and thank him for his dedication and hard work during his time with us. He was very popular with his patients and will be missed by all of us, so good luck Pritesh we wish you all the best for the future.
Welcoming Dr Rachel Manning to the team
Rachel brings with her a wealth of experience, boasting 15 years of experience in restorative dentistry including periodontal disease and treatments.
After graduating from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1987, Rachel studied for a PhD at Liverpool University in the early 1990’s and went on to complete clinical experience in practice and Oral Surgery. Rachel then trained at The Eastman Dental Hospital (UCLH) where she lectured until becoming a Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry in 1999. She went on to gain her FDS and MRD qualifications at Guy’s, becoming a Periodontal specialist in 2000.
Rachel carries out all types of periodontal treatment from surgery and crown lengthening to soft tissue surgery grafting and complex regenerative procedures. She is passionate about helping young dentists to develop their skills and is always keen to continue her own learning across the field of dentistry.
Outside of work, Rachel spends time with her family, enjoying walking and cycling and for those of you who like to hit the slopes, she is also a qualified ski instructor!

Our award-winning Dr Preeyan Patel
Our very own, award-winning Prosthodontics Specialist, Dr Preeyan Patel is one of the founding members of the team. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Preeyan, he works across both general dentistry and more complex restorative dental care, treating new and existing patients.
Preeyan graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010, going on to complete a Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice and was subsequently accepted to join the Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
In 2017, Preeyan went on to complete a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics (MClinDent)
with Distinction and was awarded the UCHOSA Prosthodontic Prize for his outstanding contribution during this course.
But the awards don’t stop there. Later the same year, Preeyan received the Gary Pollock Clinical Prize at the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD) for his approach to assessing and treating a patient. The following year, he was awarded Membership in Prosthodontics (MPros) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and was included on the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register in Prosthodontics.
Now, we’re lucky enough to have him as a colleague, but he continues to lecture on prosthodontics and support dental students in their training.
Outside of dentistry, Preeyan has been involved with a number of charities, particularly Shishukunj, a children’s charity based in London, and running international projects, for over 40 years. He has also supported the Himalayan Health Exchange, who provide dental care to remote parts of the Indian Himalayas, and has fundraised by walking, cycling and running for other causes.
Preeyan is also continuing to accept new referrals for restorative treatments.
