This year has been a busy and exciting one for the team here at Chris Wood Dental Implant Solutions. We’re always striving to utilise the latest techniques and technologies to make our work as efficient and comfortable for our patients as possible – and that means keeping abreast of all the latest developments in implant dentistry.
We've been able to do that this year are by investing in a 3 Shape Trios scanner, and introducing our new implant system – Axiom by Anthogyr.
We’ve been using the 3 Shape Trios scanner with great success, and our new implant system Axiom brings with it a great many benefits for our patients.
This new system allows us to concentrate solely on where we’re positioning the implant during surgery, which simplifies the process and improves our ability to place the implant accurately and safely.
There are also lots of innovative design features in the abutments and the prosthetics themselves, which help us make the finished implants look as natural as possible alongside your existing teeth.
When fixing the abutment to the crown, we also have more adaptability in the angle of the implant, which helps it look and function just like a natural tooth.
We’re proud to be working with Anthogyr, as they’re a forward-thinking company with an excellent support plan in place to help us with any queries we have along the way. Their technical and sales support are both strong, which allows us to utilise this new system with confidence.
This year we re-launched our YouTube channel to showcase some of the procedures we offer. This is aimed at keeping the clinicians we work with as informed as possible on the range of treatment solutions we provide. A big thank you to Raw Pictures for the excellent filming!
We have also worked with our digital providers Urban Element to revamp the Dental Practitioners Area of our website. This section is now kept updated with any news or resources relevant to clinicians, as well as conveying how we develop relationships with other dental practitioners to expand their service offering.
Martina has gained a new qualification!
On a more personal note, we’ve had some great news within the team this year. Our Associate Implantologist Martina Pirklova has gained her Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. Congratulations Martina!
Wedding Bells
We’d also like to congratulate our Dental Nurse Emma on her recent marriage to Alan – what a lovely couple!
And finally, we’re excited to report that we’ll be expanding and moving into our new premises next year – hopefully by August!
We’ve had a wonderful time working with all our patients and fellow dental practitioners this year, and are looking forward to an exciting 2019!
