In this month’s blog, we’d like to tell you a little more about our celebrated ‘Teeth in a Day’ service, which sees you leaving the clinic with a brand-new set of dental implants, fitted in just one day.

Teeth in a Day has revolutionised the dental implant process and is a great option if you’re short on time, want a quick result, or are just really nervous when it comes to visiting your dentist.
Although the thought of implants can often be overwhelming, the service we offer minimises the number of visits you need to make to the practice. Plus, the healing process is far quicker than traditional methods as there’s no need to wear ill-fitting interim dentures.
Through years of experience, we’ve ensured our teeth in a day service is as straightforward as possible, whilst continuing to offer a tailor-made service.
We start with an initial consultation to take a 3D image of your jaw and impressions of your mouth in order to prepare the new teeth. Whether you’re having the treatment to deal with one failing tooth or to replace an entire jaw of teeth, the preparation process is the same to ensure that the subsequent treatment goes smoothly.
On the day, the process continues to be the same whether you’re with us for a single dental implant, or full arch implant bridge. After removing your own teeth, we will place the titanium implants into the jaw and then add your new set of temporary teeth, which are created ahead of time, to the implants. Over the next few months, as the implants grow into the bone of your jaw, you have the time to feedback to us about the shape and shade of the teeth. This means, when we finally see you back at Audley to fit your permanent new teeth, they are exactly right.
But the personalised service doesn’t stop there, you’ll also receive thorough aftercare advice on cleaning and maintaining your implants, and we can even arrange for a personalised maintenance plan with our experienced hygienist.
Once implants are fitted, they do require thorough and regular homecare, the Audley team will give you a tailor-made plan for ensuring you get the best from your investment . They also come with a five-year guarantee, so if there was a problem during that period, it would be covered at no extra cost. Dental implants are much easier to look after than alternatives like dentures and bridges and the cost is not significantly more, so it really can be the best option.
